Welcome to Asili Uhai Afrika (AUA)
At AUA, we are driven by a passion to restore Africa's natural beauty and empower communities through impactful reforestation, afforestation, and agroforestry initiatives. By planting native trees, fostering biodiversity, and promoting sustainable ecosystems, we aim to create a brighter, greener future for generations to come.
Join us in transforming landscapes, uplifting farmers, and making a lasting difference. Together, we can nurture nature and be Nature's Best Friend.
Our mission
We are dedicated to restoring Africa’s natural environment through tree planting and agroforestry initiatives, empowering local communities, and creating sustainable ecosystems.
What we do
Get involvedTree planting initiatives
Our primary focus is on reforestation and afforestation through the planting of local and native tree species. Each rainy season, we aim to plant as many trees as possible at the start of the rains.
ImpactThis initiative not only restores ecosystems but also enhances biodiversity and provides economic benefits to local farmers through agroforestry practices.
Join in →Agroforestry programs
We integrate tree planting with agriculture by collaborating with local farmers. This involves planting fruit trees alongside traditional crops to create sustainable agroforestry systems.
ImpactThese programs help improve food security, provide additional income sources for farmers, and promote sustainable farming practices.
Join in →Community engagement and training
We engage local communities from the beginning of each project. This includes raising seedlings, participating in planting activities, and receiving training on tree care and maintenance.
ImpactBy involving locals, we foster a sense of ownership and responsibility for the environment, which is crucial for the long-term success of our initiatives.
Join in →Monitoring and maintenance
After planting, we implement a monitoring system involving local rangers and community members to ensure the survival and health of the trees.
ImpactRegular inspections help maintain tree growth and foster community involvement in environmental stewardship.
